Dec. 3 newsstand: A quick update and some cab news

First, a couple of updates.

AutoWeek recaps the off-season moves, and mentions Giebler & Herb as, at a minimum, part-timers.

The official IRL news & notes
has updates on a really, really cool gift some Panther fans have received, Tony Kanaan teaming with Rubens Barrichello and former IndyCar driver Felipe Giaffone to win a big Brazilian kart race, TK winning a Brazilian racing award (beating Helio) and Dario Franchitti being honored.

Autosport has a couple of updates on Dario, one on his being named an Autosport Award winner and another just catching up with the defector.

Non-IRL news
A late-breaking story tonight: Craftsman will no longer sponsor the NASCAR truck series after 2008. That means that, within one year, all 3 major NASCAR series will change names. Nextel Cup is becoming the Sprint Cup and the Busch Series is going to be the Nationwide Series next year.
